Magnifying the conservation community’s proactive defense

Alaska is under threat like never before. The federal government wants to open fragile and protected areas of Alaska to resource extraction while also taking away protections for habitat and people. The current political climate makes the threats we face unprecedented and unpredictable. In response to the threats to Alaska’s public lands and waters from the federal administration and a State of Alaska government in budget crisis, the Alaska Conservation Foundation has established the Alaska Defense Fund.
