Alaska Conservation Foundation hosts a variety of endowment funds. Supporters are welcome to contribute to the following endowment funds at any time, or begin one of their own!

Send a check to us at 1227 W. 9th Ave., Suite 300 Anchorage, Alaska 99501. Please make the check out to Alaska Conservation Foundation and note the name of the endowment fund in the memo line.

Endows annual internships to young adults interested in maintaining the ecological integrity of Alaska’s coastal and marine ecosystems.

Susan Cohn Fund for Outstanding Alaska Native Writing or Storytelling

Endows an annual writing award honoring Alaska Native writers whose work reflects the importance of the natural environment in their lives and cultures.

Jerry S. Dixon Endowment Fund 

Endows an annual award for excellence in environmental education.

Endowment for Alaska 

Our permanent source of support for organizations, projects and programs that seek to protect the richness of Alaska’s incomparable natural environment.

Dick Erman Memorial Endowment Fund 

Endows an annual grant to Alaska Conservation Voters.

Hugh S. Ferguson Wildlife Protection Endowment Fund 

Protects and enhances Alaska’s magnificent wildlife.

Daniel Housberg Memorial Fund 

Endows the Housberg awards for environmental photographic and videographic excellence and advocacy.

Celia Hunter Award Endowment 

Endows an annual award for outstanding contributions to conservation by volunteers.

Celia M. Hunter Alaska Conservation Leadership Fund 

Sponsors high-quality positions for selected Alaska conservation leadership interns.

Inspiration Ridge Preserve Fund 

Ensures a long-term source of maintenance and operation support for the Inspiration Ridge Preserve in Homer, Alaska for the purpose of protection of wildlife and wildlife habitat.

Leghorn Family Internship Fund 

Supports a conservation internship for an Alaskan applicant.

Martha Levensaler Leadership Fund

A fund dedicated to fostering the growth of Alaska’s future conservation leaders. Learn more.
