Alaska Conservation Foundation is excited to welcome Danielle Stickman to the team as our new Network Coordinator!
At the beginning of May 2019, Danielle was hired as the new Network Coordinator for the Western Alaska Landscape Conservation Cooperative. Danielle is of Dena’ina and Koyukon Athabascan descent. She was raised in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Nondalton which is located between Lake Clark and Lake Iliamna in the Bristol Bay region. Danielle’s foundational passion for her work stems from cultural values of Alaska Natives, Hawaiians, First Nation Peoples, and from her experiences of traveling around Alaska and the world. She believes that protecting and sustaining our environment needs to include Indigenous values of honoring the earth; to create lasting and positive change.
