We thank you for your unending support through this challenging year and look forward to continuing our partnership into 2019. Together, we acted to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge from oil and gas drilling, to prevent large-scale open-pit mining in the headwaters of Bristol Bay, and to conserve the old-growth trees in the Tongass National Forest from clearcutting. We also provided communications and management trainings to conservation organizations throughout the state, we worked collaboratively in communities statewide to adapt to our rapidly changing climate, and we elevated a valuable conversation about protecting wild salmon habitat. And this only scratches the surface… it has been quite the year!
