Privacy Policy  

We value your privacy! Any information you give to Alaska Conservation Foundation will be held with care, and will not be used in any way except as described in this policy.

Donor Privacy

Alaska Conservation Foundation (ACF) may ask for and collect information from you depending on the information and/or services you request. This information may include your name, address, company, phone number, email address and payment details.

We use the information that you do provide for such purposes as processing your donation, responding to your requests, sending quarterly newsletters and ACF updates. In ACF mailings, you will have the opportunity to change your contact information or mailing preferences, including frequency of mailings or removal from our mailing list.

You can choose not to provide us with certain information. Upon request, we will keep your donations anonymous in our publications. To make such a request, please notify us in writing, by phone, or by email.

Resale or disclosure of information to third parties

ACF will not share your information with third parties if you request that your information remain confidential. To make such a request, please notify us in writing, by phone or by email.

Browser information

ACF periodically analyzes our website logs to improve the value of information on our website.  These logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with individuals that browse our website.

Any and all information collected at our website from our website logs will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, rented, loaned, traded or otherwise disclosed.

While ACF provides links to third party websites, we do not control those sites. We recommend you review the privacy policy posted on the third party site.

Email lists

ACF maintains email lists to keep our donors, partners and grantees informed about conservation news. Individuals must affirmatively ask to join our mailing list.  We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the e-mail addresses on our list to anyone. In addition, we configure our list server software to refuse to divulge the email addresses of our list subscribers to anyone but authorized ACF staff.

Security

ACF makes every effort to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and alteration using industry accepted data collection and encryption.  If you are concerned about the safety of your credit card information online, ACF offers you multiple ways to submit a donation, including sending a check by mail or calling ACF at (907) 276-1917.
