Endowment 

Endowment funds allow you to ensure a future for Alaska’s wild places and wildlife.  It is one of the most meaningful gifts you can make to achieve a specific conservation objective. ACF has two types of endowments designed to create your lasting legacy in Alaska.

  • Endowment for Alaska: The Endowment for Alaska is ACF’s permanent source of support for organizations, projects and programs that seek to protect the richness of Alaska’s incomparable natural environment.  Creating a fund in the Endowment for Alaska is a straightforward process. Simply determine the area of focus for your fund and then make a gift of $100,000 or more to ACF to fund it. An endowment fund may be distributed at the rate of no more than 5 percent per fiscal year. 
  • Named Endowment Funds: A Named Endowment Fund protects Alaska’s natural heritage by making significant, perpetual grants to conservation efforts in your name.

Endowed funds can be funded today by gifts of cash or securities, or can be funded via a bequest. You can have as much or as little involvement in the grantmaking process annually as you would like.
