Operating Support Grant Guidelines

Summary:

ACF awards operating support grants to in-state, Alaska-based conservation organizations focused on effective conservation advocacy. Operating support grants are used at the discretion of the recipients, within the limits of laws governing the use of ACF funds. These funds can be used to cover administrative and/or program costs including salaries, facilities, travel, equipment, supplies, training, membership, fundraising, and specific program activities.

Who May Apply:

In an effort be a more effective grantmaker, ACF is initiating a process to revise and refine our grantmaking strategy over the next several months. In order to give this process due diligence, we will not be taking on new operating support grantees in 2010.  Therefore, 2010 applications are by invitation only and include only those organizations awarded operating support grants in spring 2009. If you are among this group you will be notified by Monday, November 16th, 2009.  Current operating support grantees will be asked to submit a report/survey to be eligible for continued funding for 2010.
