Grants and AwardsFoggy dark green woods with narrow waterfall in Tongass National Forest by Kim Heacox.

ACF’s core function is to raise and distribute funds to the most effective conservation organizations addressing the most critical conservation efforts in the state. Through strategic grantmaking, ACF strengthens those organizations, protects Alaska’s magnificent wild places, and supports healthy communities.

ACF’s Awards Program honors individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to Alaska conservation through leadership, the arts, education, and community involvement. Paying tribute to such dedication and hard work is crucial—it allows their accomplishments to be celebrated within and beyond the conservation community, and it serves to remind tomorrow’s conservation leaders that such efforts can bring about powerful and positive change.
